Join our 5-day FNQ Wildlife Photography Safari and immerse yourself in Australia’s most unique flora and fauna. This wildlife enthusiast’s paradise is the only place in the world where two World Heritage-listed areas exist side-by-side.

The Daintree and Tablelands possess spectacular landscapes to witness reptiles, amphibians, monotremes and butterflies, including the Platypus, Saltwater Crocodile, Boyd’s Forest Dragon, White-lipped Tree Frog, Green-eyed Tree Frog, Snapping Turtle, Leaf-tailed Gecko and electric blue Ulysses butterfly. 

This area is currently home to a large number of Australia’s bird species including Bowerbirds, Kingfishers, Riflebirds, Fruit Doves and the endangered Southern Cassowary. It also boasts the highest diversity of rainforest mammals in Australia, the Bennett’s and Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo, Spectacled Flying-fox, Daintree River Ringtail Possum, Northern Long-nosed Bandicoot are popular sightings.

When you join this Soulful experience you will travel with purpose, as your participation in this tour is contributing to the rescue, care and release of native wildlife from Cardwell to Cape York.

FNQ Wildlife Rescue has been providing an essential service to wildlife in Tropical North Queensland for over 25 years. They have over 150 members covering an area from Mission Beach, west to Mt Surprise and north to Weipa and also maintain a Rescue Centre in Cairns which is staffed by volunteers. 

They receive over 450 calls per month from members of the public requesting assistance with sick, orphaned or injured wildlife. Many of these animals are taken in by there volunteer carers who raise them to a stage where they can be released back into a natural environment.

Your tour includes a $50 contribution to FNQ Wildlife Rescue which will be an enormous help with extensive wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and release programs.
