Join us on an outback adventure trekking through the ancient Flinders Ranges. This area, in our own backyard, is known for its stunning scenery, fascinating geological history, rich cultural diversity and array of native wildlife. You’ll spend five days hiking through rugged mountain ranges, towering cliffs, spectacular gorges and stony sheltered creeks. Come with us and explore renowned landmarks including Wilpena Pound, Mount Remarkable National Park, Brachina Gorge and Alligator Gorge.
Your journey will be physically demanding, emotionally challenging and scenically spectacular. This is your chance to travel with purpose and explore the largest mountain range in South Australia, while helping to make heart disease history.
The Heart Foundation’s work is purpose-driven, with a focus on stopping Australia’s number one killer: heart disease, which takes 48 lives every day. We support over 580,000 Australians living with heart disease, as well as working tirelessly to prevent and manage heart disease for future generations.
All funds raised from the Trek the Flinders Ranges for Australian Hearts challenge will help to improve heart disease prevention, detection, care and support for all Australians.
We hope that you can join us on an adventure of a lifetime – you’ll get fit, improve your heart health and make a significant impact in the fight against heart disease.
