Located in Australia’s Red Centre, you’ll be trekking sections of the iconic Larapinta Trail, one of the most popular wilderness walks in Australia. Known for its breathtaking landscape and mountainous terrain, the trail’s rocky outcrops form a striking backdrop to scenic paths that cut passages through awe-inspiring gorges and expansive plains. A National Geographic favourite, this world-renowned trek is a must on any hiking enthusiasts bucket list.
To ensure that you have the full Larapinta Trail experience, we have chosen walks along the best sections of the trail. A highlight of the trek is a challenging but rewarding climb up to the top of Mount Sonder (1380m), the fourth highest mountain in the Northern Territory. Once at the summit, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, plains, valleys and salt lakes. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife; there will be plenty of opportunities to spot birds of prey, such as the wedge-tailed eagle and the peregrine falcon.
Along the way, you will be surrounded by like-minded adventurers as you walk the trail for a great cause. Led by expert guides who will be with you every step of the way, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the Australian outback, while supporting Endeavour Foundation.

Your donations support people with intellectual disability to access learning and life skills programs to enhance independence, confidence, and social participation. These programs contribute to a sense of wellbeing and connection with community, while building essential skills for daily life.
Having a job is an important part of an inclusive and empowering community. Employment can boost confidence and self-esteem, it connects people with their community and gives a strong sense of purpose. Your donations create opportunities for people with disability to work, develop skills, have a career, earn an income, and explore their interests.
$50.00 - Accommodation could assist in purchasing a radio to enable someone with disability to have access to music, helping to create a calm environment and positive wellbeing.
$100.00 - Learning could assist four people with disability with the elements required for learning, such as aids and art supplies.
$250.00 - Learning could supply the ingredients required for a life skill cooking classes for ten people with intellectual disability.
$300.00 - Accommodation could go towards purchasing a television to enable people with disability to have access to movies and shows.
$450.00 - Learning could go towards an iPad to assist a person with disability with learning (such as cooking, literacy, numeracy, life skills, YouTube learning, etc).
$500.00 - Learning could assist with exercise equipment such as jumping ropes and mats to teach and people with disability how to exercise.
$500.00 - Learning could purchase a Lego Robotics Kit - to encourage skills like mobility and acceptance and commitment therapy.
$1,000.00 - Learning could assist with purchasing musical instruments to enable people with disability to participate in musical learning.
There are many creative and fun ways in which you can fundraise. To help get you started we have created an Online Fundraising Resource Hub containing an A-Z guide of fundraising ideas, “how to” guides for certain events and sample press releases and corporate sponsorship letters. Upon registration you will be given the password to access. You will also have regular support from the Soulful Concepts team, who will help you develop a fundraising plan tailored to your network. In addition you will also be supported by Endeavour Foundation.
