Book nowJoin MS Plus in South Australia for the journey of a lifetime, trekking the ancient Ikara–Flinders Ranges to help beat MS!
This is your chance to leave everything behind and immerse yourself in the dramatic beauty of the Ikara–Flinders Ranges National Park, which is known for its stunning scenery, fascinating geological history, rich cultural diversity and array of native wildlife.
Expert guides will lead you across this ancient landscape, through rugged mountain ranges, towering cliffs, spectacular gorges and stony sheltered creeks. You’ll hike sections of the famous Heysen Trail and visit many renowned landmarks including Wilpena Pound, Mount Remarkable National Park, Brachina Gorge and Alligator Gorge.
Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a myriad of native Australian wildlife species including flocks of emus, kangaroos, wallabies, reptiles and plenty of birdlife including the brightly coloured mallee ringneck parrot and wedge-tailed eagle. Your evenings will be spent staying at Rawnsley Park; a working sheep station where you can enjoy all of the creature comforts after a hard day’s hike, but with the added benefit of outdoor fires to relax around and star-gaze with like-minded travellers.
Most significantly, this is your chance to travel with purpose, and create real change in people’s lives — and in yourself. Travelling with MS Plus and Soulful Concepts inspires a sense of motivation and encouragement because this trip is supporting Australians living with multiple sclerosis.

We’re here so no one has to face multiple sclerosis alone.
A multiple sclerosis diagnosis can be extremely difficult to come to grips with. All of a sudden there is a lot of new information to absorb, questions to ask and key decisions to make. MS Plus is here to support people living with multiple sclerosis and their loved ones at every stage through their journey. Many of the essential support services MS Plus delivers are only possible thanks to the generosity of fundraisers and donors. 23,283 times last year, people reached out to our Plus Connect helpline and were met with a caring person to listen and help them – all thanks to donations and fundraising.
Your donations allowed 1,407 people to receive specialised advice from the Plus Advisor services last year.
Your fundraising enabled 6,178 people to register for an Plus Education and Wellbeing webinar in the past year to better understand multiple sclerosis.
Your support allowed 900+ people to join the Plus Peer Support program throughout the last year, to connect with others living with multiple sclerosis.
All funds raised from The MS Plus Ikara–Flinders Ranges Adventure will be used to fund vital support services to ensure no one has to face multiple sclerosis alone.
There are many creative and fun ways in which you can fundraise. To help get you started we have created an Online Fundraising Resource Hub containing an A-Z guide of fundraising ideas, “how to” guides for certain events and sample press releases and corporate sponsorship letters. You will also have regular support from the Soulful Concepts team, who will help you develop a fundraising plan tailored to your network. In addition you will also be supported by MS Plus.
