Immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Yuin Country on an unforgettable cultural expedition!
On this incredible curated four-day journey, you’ll experience the breathtaking highlights of NSW’s South Coast. From ticking off three of the most scenic and challenging hikes through Morton National Park, to celebrating the resilience and strength of the Yuin Nation when you meet respected Elders for a Welcome to Country, cultural discussions and hands-on workshops.
Delve into ancient rainforest and woodland on your quest to ascend Kalianna Ridge, past caves and waterfalls and onwards to summit The Castle, with its views of the Budawang Range and the Tasman Sea. Don’t forget the binoculars! You might even be lucky enough to spot goannas, lyrebirds, swamp wallabies or long-nosed potoroos along the way.
Setting off before dawn, climb through the magnificent wilderness of Didthul (Pigeon House Mountain) along a walking track surrounded by ancient sandstone formations, heathland and forest. Witness sunrise from the peak, taking in spectacular panoramic views over the rugged cliffs and gorges, with the coastline stretching around you from Point Perpendicular in the north to Mount Dromedary in the south.
This journey will see you travel with a purpose, donating to support Treading Lightly, a local grassroots environmental organisation that brings people together to build resilient communities and make positive, long-lasting change towards a sustainable future.
