Tour from AUD: Price available upon request
Our local wilderness guide will collect you from your hotel at 5am. The drive is approximately one hour from Milton/Mollymook to Long Gully car park.
This is a magnificent and varied walk that begins on the banks of the magical Clyde River, climbing to the base of the Castle. We will skirt the huge conglomerate walls and unique rock formations passing The Cathedral Cave, home to a diverse sub-tropical green room before arriving at The Natural Arch for lunch with spectacular views of The Clyde Gorge.
After crossing the saddle the track climbs steeply past ancient grass trees and old man banksia, leading up the breathtaking gully onto the summit of Byangee, where you will be rewarded with incredible views of The Castle and Pigeon House Mountain.
We return the same way we came and transfer back to your hotel, arriving back in the early evening.
In addition this journey will see you travel with a purpose, donating to support Treading Lightly, a local grassroots environmental organisation that brings people together to build resilient communities and make positive, long-lasting change towards a sustainable future.
* Travellers are responsible for valid visas throughout the duration of the trip
