Tour from AUD: Price available upon request
Our local wilderness guide will collect you from your hotel at your selected time (we offer this as a morning or sunset experience). The drive is approximately one hour from Mollymook to Florence Head carpark.
Once on the trail we will enjoy a variety of vegetation types, including mallee gum trees, heath plants and sedges. Local wildlife are slowly making their way back after the devastating fires in 2020, so keep an eye out for kangaroos, wallabies and an array of bird life, such as honeyeaters, wrens and colourful parrots.
Florence Head walking trail is one of the easiest and most scenic walks in Morton National Park. The trail is relatively flat with multiple lookout points along the way that offer sweeping views up and down the coast.
Once we arrive at Florence Head lookout, we’ll have a picnic lunch while taking in the captivating views of the Didthul (Pigeon House Mountain) and the awe-inspiring mountainous backdrop. This is a perfect spot to relax and unwind, pause for a moment and listen to the sound of nature as you enjoy an antipasto platter with a view.
We return the same way we came and transfer back to your hotel.
In addition this journey will see you travel with a purpose, donating to support Treading Lightly, a local grassroots environmental organisation that brings people together to build resilient communities and make positive, long-lasting change towards a sustainable future.
* Travellers are responsible for valid visas throughout the duration of the trip
