    Give back

We know travel is better when you can give back as much as you get. That’s why we have designed our trips around contributing, supporting and participating in local projects and community initiatives that have a positive social and environmental impact.

Each of our tours provide a unique way to get up close and personal with the destination and incorporate a fundraising target or donation into the travel costs, which enables travellers to connect, give back, and travel with purpose.

After breakfast and some last minute checks of our bikes, we begin our ride towards the range along the Mt Milligan Highway.  As we take the hidden lagoons trail,  an easy fire trail, single track combination will lead to a stunning natural forest lagoon. We spend some time here to cool off in the water or sit back and enjoy the luscious surroundings.

Lunch is at the old Historic Mt Molloy Pub, this is one of the oldest in North Queensland established in the 1900’s. It's a great pit stop for travellers and locals, after a chat and a refreshment we make our way to a lake side camp for some light relaxing water activities.  Have a go on a stand-up paddle board or kayak or even a fun filled afternoon cruise around lake Tinaroo as an optional extra.

These breathtaking views are known to last a lifetime, enjoy the moment, soak up the views and prepare for the final ascent for the afternoon before we arrive back at the cabins for a well-deserved refreshment and a sizzling BBQ around the campfire. The trails meander through an open forest of gums, bloodwoods, mahogany’s, she-oaks and cycads before entering the amazing purpose-built Atherton Mountain Bike Park.

This repurposed hiking and biking trail traverses through dense rainforest and over crystal-clear mountain streams, offering spectacular views of the coast below. The 35km ride back to Port Douglas with the 2km downhill will bring sheer delight to all mountain bikers, before finishing up on 4 Mile Beach, where we enjoy a rare opportunity to ride on one of Australia’s most pristine beaches before we have a final lunch and refreshments.
