    Trip at a glance

Embark on an extraordinary Coastal Wilderness Trek, a three-day journey through Australia's captivating landscapes. Begin with a pickup in the Merimbula area, venturing through Eden into Beowa National Park. Explore Boyd's Tower, a historic sandstone structure overlooking the coast, and marvel at its connection to Benjamin Boyd's whaling fleet.

The trek unfolds along one of Australia's iconic trails, leading to the stunning Saltwater Creek. Transport awaits, whisking you to the Green Cape Lighthouse, a historic gem built in 1883. Enjoy an evening of seasonal whale watching (if available) and savor a scrumptious dinner featuring local produce.

Day two unfolds with a hearty breakfast before returning to Saltwater Creek. Traverse picturesque landscapes, encounter wildlife, and take respite at Hegarty's Bay en route to Bittangabee Bay. The bus awaits your return to Green Cape Light Station for a meal complemented by local wines.

Day three offers whale watching at Green Cape Point (spring only) before heading north to Bittangabee Bay. Explore the poignant Lye-e-Moon Cemetery, a reminder of shipwrecks, and conclude the trek with lunch overlooking sapphire waters. Depart from Bittangabee Bay, pausing at the Disaster Bay Lookout for a panoramic view. Reflect on three incredible days as the journey takes you back through Eden to Merimbula, leaving you with lasting memories of Australia's coastal wilderness.

    Itinerary

Day 1: Boyd’s Tower to Saltwater Creek
Pick up from your accommodation or airport in the Merimbula area between 8am - 9am - travel via Eden and into Beowa National Park. The walk begins at Boyds Tower where we marvel the sandstone structure that was never officially used as a light house, instead Benjamin Boyd relied on it as a spotting tower for his whaling fleet.

Here at Boyds Tower we begin our amazing three-day trek along this breath-taking Coastal Wilderness. The rest of the day is spent exploring one of Australia’s most iconic walking trails, arriving at stunning Saltwater Creek in the afternoon. From here, you will be picked up by our bus and transported to your accommodation at the historic Green Cape Light Station. The stunning Green Cape Light house is New South Wales 2nd tallest,  built in 1883.
