Trip at a glance

Get ready to experience the best of the Far South Coast as you travel with purpose on the MS Sapphire Coast Adventure.

Experience Australia’s rugged coastal wilderness through one of the best kept secrets on the NSW South Coast.

The Sapphire Coast is a gateway to enchanting coastal forests, sparkling estuaries and secluded beaches. Discover historic lighthouses, untouched coastlines and ancient geological formations as you trek with a small group of like-minded people led by expert local guides. Stay in comfortable accommodation and enjoy freshly prepared meals featuring local seasonal produce.

Your adventure starts in the seaside community of Tathra, where you’ll visit the picturesque historical-listed Tathra Wharf and the magnificent surroundings of Bournda and Mimosa National Parks, before continuing south to Ben Boyd National Park and Green Cape Lighthouse.

Watch as sea eagles soar above the crystalline waters and keep your eyes peeled for signs of humpback whales, who are known to frequent this stunning coastline to feed and nurse before heading to Antarctic waters. Once on the Light to Light Walk, you’ll explore rugged cliff tops to open coastal heath and woodlands filled with unique flora and fauna, geology and landscapes with reminders of early European settlement.

Travelling with MS and Soulful Concepts will inspire a sense of motivation and encouragement because this trip will support Australians living with multiple sclerosis and also communities that are doing it tough during these difficult and unprecedented times.

We hope you can join us on the MS Sapphire Coast Adventure. We know you’ll walk away with treasured memories and the knowledge that you’ve been part of something life-changing!

Give back

Multiple sclerosis is unpredictable and debilitating. An autoimmune disease of the central nervous system, it interferes with the nerve impulses within the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. Over 26,500 Australians are living with multiple sclerosis and there are approximately 2.8 million people diagnosed worldwide. MS is the most commonly acquired disease of the central nervous system and there is no known cause or cure yet.

Multiple Sclerosis Limited (MS) is the go-to provider of information, advice and support for people affected by multiple sclerosis. MS offers a range of vital support services from expert advice, wellbeing programs, peer support and employment to allied health and accommodation, while funding cutting-edge research into a cure.

We’re here so no one has to face multiple sclerosis alone.

A multiple sclerosis diagnosis can be extremely difficult to come to grips with. All of a sudden there is a lot of new information to absorb, questions to ask and key decisions to make. MS is here to support people living with multiple sclerosis and their loved ones at every stage through their journey.

Many of the essential support services MS delivers are only possible thanks to the generosity of fundraisers and donors.

27,640 times last year, people reached out to our MS Connect helpline and were met with a caring person to listen and help them – all thanks to donations and fundraising.

Your donations allowed 1,610 people to receive specialised advice from the MS Nurse Advisor and MS Social Work Advisor services last year.

Your fundraising enabled 4,567 people to register for an MS Education and Wellbeing webinar in the past year to better understand multiple sclerosis.

Your support allowed 604 people to join the MS Peer Support program throughout the last year, to connect with others living with multiple sclerosis.

All funds raised from the MS Sapphire Coast Adventure will fund vital support services to ensure no one has to face multiple sclerosis alone.
