Our local wilderness guide will collect you from your hotel at your selected time. The drive is approximately one hour from Milton/Mollymook to Mount Bushwalker car park.
The track’s flat sandstone plateau is easy enough to walk and you will experience some of the state’s most glorious bushland views, as you meander through native forests and low lying shrubs, filled with an abundance of wildflowers and bird life.
You will bridge creeks and traverse cliff tops before being rewarded with one of the most spectacular views of the Budawangs. Gaze at the awe-inspiring mountainous backdrop, which includes the Castle and the unbelievable Shrouded Gods, and the amazing Clyde River Gorge below.
We'll stop for photo opportunities and lunch along the way beneath the shade of the prolific eucalyptus trees before returning back to the carpark and on to your hotel.
This journey will see you travel with a purpose, donating to support Treading Lightly, a local grassroots environmental organisation that brings people together to build resilient communities and make positive, long-lasting change towards a sustainable future.
